Educational qualifications:

Mechanical engineering degree awarded by a recognized university or equivalent qualification accepted by Institution of Engineers of Sri Lanka.

And

Membership of Institution of Engineers of Sri Lanka or Institution of Engineers, UK

And

10yrs post qualifying experience as a Mechanical Engineer

Salary scale: Rs.34345. 00 – 925x14= 47295. 00

Age limit: age between 18 and 45yrs at the closing date of application. (Minimum age limit will not apply to those who are working in permanent post in the Public Service/ Provincial Public Service and State Corporations and Statutory Boards)

Terms of employment:

    * Regional Mechanical Engineer- Grade II is a permanent post which is subject to 3yrs probation period
    * Those who are appointed for the post should be liable to Employees Provident Fund and Employees Trust Fund
