The person we are looking for is dynamic and energetic individual from an FMCG background with a proven track record in leading a team to passionately achieve individual and team goals.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in an organization that benefited from a strong sales process and will be a champion for inspiring the team to work the process to reap high sales success. He will be an effective coach and motivator as well as someone who is easy to coach. He will care about the performance of others and will have experience in inspiring others to success. He will have an excellent work ethic, organized time management skills, and a clear track record of doing what’s necessary to complete tasks on deadline.

Further, he will set an example for excellent communication and follow through with customers and in doing the homework needed to make sure we are prepared and ready to serve clients at a level beyond their expectations.
Key Functions
Provide leadership, management and operational direction for sales activities of all brands through a specialised sales team and to maximize market opportunities to achieve/exceed sales objectives through a robust merchandising cum selling and distribution operation.
Develop the identified products to be leading brands in the market and ensure timely and optimal expansion of the team to achieve enhanced and consistent growth of the OTC portfolio.
Research, identify and recommend to the management any potential any products/brands that could add significant value to the OTC portfolio and with management approval successfully launch such brands thereby a sustainable growth oriented business entity.
Act as key strategic link between Brand Teams and Field Sales on planning, strategy execution and opportunity management.
Develop customer and channel specific brand promotional strategies, budgets and targets and drive the achievement of same.
Establish customer specific growth strategies with field sales management team.
Job Requirements
Suitably qualified in Sales, Marketing or Management
Over 5 years experience in Field Sales Management in FMCG or OTC Healthcare
Excellent relationship with key retail channels
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision in a technologically advanced computerized office environment
Strategic thinking in new business identification and development
A high level of personal integrity with the ability to work under pressure in a highly ethical business environment
Excellent command of English and Sinhala (working knowledge of Tamil will be an added advantage)
Age between 30 – 35 years
