You would be able to process all local currency payments and to assist foreign currency payments as per the specified instructions and ensure timely settlement of dues thereby maintaining company credibility.

Key Responsibilities:
    Verifying all invoices and supporting documents through system verification and cross checking to make sure the accuracy and authenticity of each payment and timely settlement of dues in order to maintain a smooth functioning of payment process.
    Maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger by liasing with suppliers & relevant departments in order to obtain monthly reconciliation statements/ verifications or liabilities,clearing supplier accounts and updating the SAP system to reflect future payables that falls within the credit period and highlight unacceptable variances on LC settlements to management.
    Assist in maintaining goods in transit account within acceptable limits through monitoring the expenses incurred by the company in advance supported with timely receipts of goods and highlighting instances where goods are delayed in order to facilitate decision making.
    Coordinating with financial institutions and addressing issues through effective , efficient communication and maintain excellent relationship to make sure the payment instructions are received and carried out in a timely manner & thereby maintain company credibility.
    Preparation of weekly payment backlog summary and provide all required supporting schedules in order to facilitate decision making
    Maintain a seperate payment schedule for block stock invioces and continuous monitoring after analysing stores records and take appropriate aaction to clear the items off the block stock to maintain a smooth internal process
    Maintaining proper documentation each month for all suppliers under the simplified VAT system through coordinating with suppliers and obtaining monthly declarations
    Perform additional duties commensurate with the curent role ,as and when requested by management

Qualifications & Experience
    Passed G.C.E A/L preferably in Commerce stream.
    Minimum of 2 years experience in handling payments.
    Part time qualifications in AAT/ CMA/ ICASL.
    Good Team Player.
