The ideal candidate should be less than 45 years of age with a sound knowledge of Oracle 6i/10g development tools, PL/SQL, JDeveloper and Oracle DBA work involving installing, patching, upgrading & supporting Oracle 9i/10g RDBMS and Oracle Application Server. In addition, experience on Oracle E- Business Suite Technology Stack, Oracle Data Guard, knowledge on J2EE frame work, AIX and Linux would be an advantage. He should possess a degree in Computer Science/Information Technology and certification in Oracle Development Tools. AIX Administration and Oracle Linux Administration certifications would be advantageous.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and willingness to work long irregular hours when required are prerequisites. The primary duties of the position include Oracle Linux/ AIX System Administration, Oracle DB installation & administration, Oracle Document Management implementation & administration, Oracle EBS technical administration and PL/SQL development.
