JOB SUMMARY
The responsibility of “Executive – Risk Management” includes assisting “Manager- Risk Management “ to add value to the Group by establishing an effective Group-wide Risk Management Framework and ensuring implementation of risk management and internal control activities at business level
KEY ACTIVITIES AND THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
Assist in developing and implementation of a risk framework for the Group and individual businesses
Conducting Risk Assessments for the Group and the individual businesses
Assist the businesses to analyze the risks and to come up with mitigation plans
Assist the Group and the individual businesses to streamline the processes
Follow up with the management for the action plans agreed for the risk mitigation
Be updated on trends and developments of all relevant industries
Reporting on risk register follow-ups
Timely completion of the Risk Management programs
Quality of Risk management highlights – meet audit committee expectation
Timely responses to risk queries
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Graduate/Undergraduate in Finance/Accounting / Business Administration ia a recognized University Professional Qualification
Part qualification in CIMA/ACCA/ICASL/CMA or qualified in CIA Technical skills
Knowledge on risk identification
Analytical skills
Knowledge on best practices and good governance
Ability to implement policies and procedures to achieve business objectives Behavioral skills
Communication & presentation skills
Interpersonal skills
Leadership and Team-working skills
EXPERIENCE
Two years of experience (minimum) in the field of Internal Auditing and/or Risk Management in a reputed organization.
