In this position you will be responsible for:
The candidate must demonstrate the skill and ability to:
    ·       Technical management of all staff and become the single point of contact with Australian based project/Sales managers
    ·        Resolve all technical difficulties encountered by the staff and guide them through technical issues.
    ·        Continuously do R&D, plan and deliver innovative solutions that meet software development and coding standards and consist of highest quality design concepts.
    ·        Innovation of new concepts and techniques and provide leadership to the organisation to stay ahead of the new technology trends.
    ·        Have good understanding and thorough programming knowledge of .Net (C#, VB.net), Database (mySQL, SQL Server, vistaDB), XML, third party controls (Infragistics, devexpress, exceed, RAD, Teleric, Crystal reports), Ability to do programming/coding when required.
    ·        Work within strict budgets, prepare project plans and track the plans accurately, take total responsibility of delivering solutions on time as per project plans and within set budgets
    ·        Motivate the development team, direct and monitor their skill enhancements and approach towards work and plan their career improvements
    ·        Allocate resources to projects, plan ahead of present and future resource needs, and manage development resources in the most efficient manner. Setup teams for projects and disband teams when projects are completed
    ·        Write clear requirement analysis and design specification documents on software products and solutions that the organisation intend to develop
    ·        Ensure time management of the team and they are performing to the expectation
    ·        provide business development proposals to increase profitability of the organisation.
    ·        Prepare tender documents for projects that the company wishes to bid
    ·        Possess good problem solving skills and techniques
    ·        Have practical knowledge on SAS (software as service) , ASP (Application service provider)  and drive the projects to generate maximum potential
    ·        Possess good marketing ideas to expand the business both locally and overseas, implement marketing strategies.
    - Delivery of continual Service Improvement.

Your previous experience will include:
10+ years relevant industry outsourcing/business operations experience, including;
                 o   Minimum of 5 yrs experience in  IT commercial negotiations
                 o   Minimum of 2 years experience in senior IT management
                 o   Understanding of commercial context of industry
                 o   Demonstrated experience in effective relationship building and collaboration, team work,  and customer focus
                 o   Financial management

    Ability to successfully interact with varying levels of Leadership
    Ability to establish and manage performance metrics
    Ability to manage urgent and complex tasks simultaneously
    Demonstrated ability to work effectively and achieve results in a matrixed organisation
    Strong influencing skills to produce consistent performance improvements
    Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
    Strong customer focus and communication skills
    Analytical ability and provision of business management tools, process and information
    Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills along with strong analytical skills are required

The selected candidate will require working independently and coordinating work with project managers in Australia & Sri Lanka and should be prepared to work in Australia as and when it is required.
