everal positions available for consultants with work experience either in Sri Lanka (on international projects) and overseas.
Required skills, experience and specialization
§ Highway Design Engineers – Professionally qualified Highway Engineers with B.Sc. (Eng) or equivalent and over 8 years work experience in Highway Projects of which a minimum of 4 years should be in road design and design checking of road works.
§ Bridge / Structures Design Engineers – Professionally qualified with B.Sc. (Eng) or equivalent and over 8 years experience in Highway Projects of which a minimum of 4 years should be in Bridge / Structures Design and design checking of bridge works.
§ Resident Engineers – Professionally qualified, B.Sc. (Eng) or equivalent with 8 years overall experience and 3 years in road sector out of which at least 2 years should be in Construction Supervision / Contract Administration as Resident Engineer / Assistant Resident Engineer. Construction experience in a reputed Construction Organization in a senior capacity will be considered as equivalent to Construction Supervision / Contract Administration experience.
§ Site Engineer - B.Sc. (Eng) or equivalent with 6-12 years overall experience out of which at least 4 years should be in the construction/ construction supervision of road works.
§ Pavement Engineers - Professionally qualified with B.Sc. (Eng) or equivalent and over 8 years experience in Highway Projects of which a minimum of 4 years should be in road pavement design, testing of road pavements, sub-grade and road construction materials.
§ Contract Administration Specialist – Professionally qualified in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 8 years experience in Highway Projects
§ Quantity Surveyors – Professionally qualified with a minimum of 8 years experience as Quantity Surveyor of which 4 years should be on Highway Projects.
§ Resettlement Specialists – A Graduate from a recognized University and with a minimum of 4 years experience in Resettlement Planning and providing Implementation Support for road projects.
