Diethelm Travel Sri Lanka, a subsidiary company of the Hemas Holdings PLC and a member of a multinational Travel Company, is currently looking Staff for its Travel Centres operated at five star hotels in Colombo. The ideal candidate should be a customer-friendly person who will be able to handle travel counter operations independently and possess a fair knowledge of possible excursions and tours packages that could be offered in Sri Lanka. He/She will report directly to the Head of Travel Centres

Excellent communications as well as interpersonal skills along with the ability to work under pressure are essential attributes for this position. A minimum 1-year work experience in a similar or acceptable capacity in an Inbound Tourism Industry based organization is a pre-requisite.

The ideal candidate should:
    Possess a good working knowledge on transport & tourism based operations
    Have the ability to effectively sell Sri Lanka as a holiday destination
    Possess excellent working knowledge of English and good IT skills
    Be methodical, trustworthy, confident and possess the ability to multitask
    Be able to build and maintain strong business relationships with different types of customers including agents
    Be sporty and possess an outgoing character
    Should be GCE (A/L) qualified and possess a credit pass for English at the GCE (O/L)
    Job entails working on a 24 hour roster
