BRANCH MANAGER
 
The candidate should
    * possess a degree (preferably with a class) from a recognized university and/or a full professional qualification in Accountancy (ICASL, CIMA, ACCA) or Banking.
    * have at least 15 years experience in banking of which at least 5 years should have been as a Branch Manager/Assistant Branch Manager.
    * possess experience/knowledge in all branch banking operations and credit evaluation

Exposure to international operations will be a definite advantage.
 
OFFICER IN CHARGE
The candidate should
    * be below 35 years of age
    * have eight years’ experience working in a commercial bank and be CBF qualified or have 6 years commercial banking experience with a degree or equivalent or be ACBF/DBF qualified. Of the banking experience 2 years should have been in credit.
Selected candidates will oversee all operational functions of a branch. They are also required to build up a sound client base and maintain excellent relationships with clients.
Bankers with wide experience in banking with previous work experience in the North will have a definite advantage. Applicants should be also willing to reside in Jaffna. They should also be proficient in English and be IT literate.
