    5* resort / hotel experience of at least 3 yrs
    Progressively had moved in career to the Chief Steward position
    Is a champion of HACCP
    Has practical experience of leading a team of 15-20 Stewards
    English both oral/written fluency
    Reports to the Executive Chef / Designate

    •          At least 3 years’ experience as an Order Taker in a 5 Star Hotel
    •          Fluency in English is essential
    •          Overseas experience in a 5 Star Hotel will be a definite advantage

    While directly reporting to the General Manager, the Operations Coordinator should be able to help general manager to Manage, Direct, Guide and Monitor the team of Restaurant Managers and their restaurant staff to ensure that they perform successfully and satisfactorily.
    Leading and guiding or managing  restaurant management programs, operations,  marketing and presenting information concerning the performance of assigned restaurants and its employees, products , equipments.Monitor and coordinate programs and services to develop relationships with employers elected officials, and special interest groups; developing the knowledge, skills, and abilities of staff and supervising staff.

    McLarens Hotels Limited, a leading player in the hospitality sector seeks a competent professional to take up duties as “Restaurant & Bar Manager” at its flagship entities “Hotel Topaz” and “Tourmaline” in central hills of Kandy.

    Restaurant & Bar Manager will be responsible for smooth and flawless operation of the serving areas of the both hotels. His coverage will include all food and beverage outlets, storage and provision areas, food store rooms, waste disposal and sanitation.


    Age between 22 – 40 years. Should be well experienced and creative in butter / ice / regiform carving in Stare Class Hotels local and overseas. Achievements won at Culinary exhibitions is advantageous.

    Should be able to take up duties immediately
